Ames Free Library and the Easton Historical Society are pleased to present Winthrop Ames’s silent film Snow White. Created in 1916, this film was viewed by a young Walt Disney, who later made his animated version. You will even get to see the contract signed by Ames when he sold the movie rights to Walt Disney!
This special event features live accompaniment by a harp and viola, written and performed by musicians from Seattle, WA. Hemingway Theater is located in the Duffy Academic Center at Stonehill College, 320 Washington Street, Easton.
Admission will be 15 cents per person, with tickets sold at the door. Light refreshments will be available. This program will also be followed by a brief discussion and Q&A session.
