Please help the Sharon Historical Society Celebrate the 250th Year of the Declaration of Independence: IT’s REVOLUTIONARY!

In honor of the founding of this country, the Sharon Historical Society will work with other town organizations to provide Sharonites of all ages the opportunity to celebrate, learn, and have fun throughout the coming year.  By attending, participating in or helping create, produce or publicize the currently planned monthly activities and events for seniors and families described below.    (Some of these activities and dates may change over the coming year)

January – “An Invitation to Artists” to start the creation of a community wide exhibit in June of all types of artwork visual, craft, prose, poetry inspired by the Declaration of Independence and Revolutionary War. This will include a presentation on the life of Deborah Sampson and an opportunity to create art and letters to be included in the exhibit.
