About “Muslims for Life®” Campaign

To honor the victims of 9/11 and emphasize Islam’s essential teaching regarding the sanctity of life, the Ahmadiyya Muslims Community, USA began organizing blood drives all across the nation in 2011. The “Muslims for Life” Campaign has now become a nationwide annual event.

After the Boston Marathon tragedy in 2013, the Greater Boston Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA introduced a special blood drive to honor those affected by the tragedy. Since then, we have continued to hold this blood drive every year at Boston City Hall. As part of this nationwide effort, the Greater Boston chapter has held multiple blood drives in partnership with the Massachusetts State House, City of Boston, American Red Cross, Boston Children Hospital Blood Donor Center, Kraft Family Blood Donor Center at MGH, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Athletics Association (B.A.A.) as well as Sharon and Canton Police. The Community has received great support from the Governor’s office, Boston Mayor’s office, State Representatives, and State Senators. Our community is grateful to all our supporters and partners.
