Today is Holi (hoo-lee), Also known as the “Festival of Colors”. This ancient Indian holiday represents the return of spring and triumph of good vs. evil. A key aspect of Holi is the celebration of friendship, where people put aside differences and wipe away grudges. It is celebrated with music, dance and people throwing colored powders and splashing each other with colored water.
