SUMMARY:Emma's Run
DESCRIPTION:Emma loved to run\, however she was often frustrated that there were not more “kids runs” available. So\, in her honor\, we’ve established races of varying challenges\, for all participants — adults and children alike. \nAs Emma would want\, all participants are welcome. \nWhatever your participation\, we encourage everyone to come out and join us for face painting\, kids yoga and stretching\, refreshments and good cheer\, for what promises to be a joyous\, memorable event!  \n  \nFor runners we offer a USATF Certified 5 mile run around Lake Massapoag with prizes to top 3 men and women. For walkers there is a 2.5 mile walk. The first 800 who pre-register will receive an Emma’s Run tee-shirt. Children have the opportunity to participate in either a 1.2 mile kid’s run or a .1 mile kid’s dash. All children in the Kid’s Dash and Kid’s Run will receive finisher medals. Parents are welcome to run with kids. \nRegistration Opens: 8:00 am \n9:30 am – kid’s dash  |  9:45 am – kid’s run  |  10:10 am – 5 mile run and 2.5 mile walk\nAll races finish along the beautiful beach of Lake Massapoag. \nAwards: 11:30 am \nKids Run Age Divisions:\nAge 6 and under  |  7 & 8  |  9 & 10  |  11 & 12  |  13 & 14 \nParking:\n1 Beach St. Sharon\, MA. 02067 (The lake Parking Lot)\n181 Pond Street (Sharon High School) \nEarly Packet Pick Up\nWhen: Saturday May 2nd from 11 AM – 3PM\nWhere: The Run House 15 West St. Walpole\, MA. 02081 \n
