Pick up at approximately 9:30am from Stop & Shop\, 301 Centre Street\, Jamaica Plain\, MA 02130. SUMMARY:20th Annual Father Bullock Run Walk Shuffle
DESCRIPTION:Our goal is to continue the mission of Father Robert Bullock to educate young people on racial\, religious\, economic differences of others through education via educational programs offered by Facing History and Ourselves and Sharon Pluralism to make the world a better place for all. The Conway scholarship was added in 2022 in memory of one of the original members of our race committee and Sharon High School coach. We accomplish this by putting on an event with a 5k Road Race\, 2 Mile Walk and free kids 1k. \nEvent includes t-shirt for first 150 in Road Race and Walk. DESCRIPTION:For runners we offer a USATF Certified 5 mile run around Lake Massapoag with prizes to top 3 men and women. For walkers there is a 2.5 mile walk. The first 800 who pre-register will receive an Emma’s Run tee-shirt. Children have the opportunity to participate in either a 1.2 mile kid’s run or a .1 mile kid’s dash. All children in the Kid’s Dash and Kid’s Run will receive finisher medals. Role: As part of the SMS guidance department\, Luna acts as a therapy dog\, helping\nstudents with social\, emotional\, and anxiety-related needs. Activities: She is active within the school community\, even participating in school spirit activities like celebrating the AFC championship.
